You tired of Buying a GPS for OSM Use? Nokia finally released a application called "Nokia Sports Tracker" which uses the Maps of OSM. Great idea for mappers using it as it will help you to map areas which are not yet covered by OSM...

The Export of the data includes a Mode to export a track as GPX, too.

Who like to - try it out - i am using it... http:/sportstracker.nokia.com

Yes . Its a nice application . I used it before the version with OSM was released . It really helps when you are taking trails while walking . You get a hint of the calories lost .. so you know when to drink some juice:D

I thought I'd mention for completeness sake that there are quite a few other programs on various mobile phones including all Nokia phones that allow you to record gpx tracks and export them. There is a nice list of them at http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Software/Mobile_phones

@pavithrans: Juice have too much calories due to the sugar, i prefer beer :)

@amm: I know, but many are shit (e.g. Trekbuddy), i tried out a lot of them and finally this tool was exactly what i was looking for as it even writes as much nodes as possible. Anyway: The information for the BNokia Sports Tracker in the Wiki isn't up to date anymore...

Wiki page for Sports Tracker. I was going to suggest you update that with more details of the app, but… were you talking about sportstracker.nokia.com ? It seems to have been shut down by nokia now :-( What are the best alternatives offered via the ovi store? (should put those details on the wiki page)
