Changeset When Comment

grr - cut and paste fail - that should be "... changeset/121393300 by @willkmis ..."

No, poor mapping after only 22 edits is _not_ vandalism.
Comments on changesets made by this user can be seen at http://resultmaps.neis-one.org/osm-discussion-comments?uid=16066706 . Most are from you and aren't actually questions that need an answer. However, a couple, including changeset/121393300 by changeset/121393300 would certainly benefit from an answer by @Avasquez369 .

Hello MxxCon,

After I had made only 22 edits, nothing was blatantly anything. Please give people the time to learn and the time to make mistakes.
If there is a problem with a particular edit, please point it out politely and offer to help fixing it.

Best Regards,

Andy Townsend, on behalf of OSM's Data Working Group

Hello MxxCon,

Calling things vandalism when they are not helps absolutely no-one.
If there is a problem with a particular edit please point it out, but calling edits by mappers that you don't like "vandalism" without any other information is counterproductive.

There have been problematic edits by some editors adding things primarily for "Upland", but unfortunately your comments have made dealing with these considerably more complicated.

Best Regards,

Andy Townsend, on behalf of OSM's Data Working Group.

So why did you say "this is not a dead end"?

122045229

Also way/553367462 is now very offset from any imagery,

122045229

Your most recent edit was to way/938865427/history . A previous mapper said "Prospect: landslide has removed part of the road. There seems no intention to repair it. El Paso: there is a gate across the road". Can you explain how come the landslide is no longer there?
You also moved node/9728853959 some distance from the large building that it was outside.

Hello Gerd,
I'm not sure what happened here, but this edit somehow merged some building tags with the city - see https://osm.mapki.com/history/relation/8027078 .
I've reverted it.
Best Regards,
Andy

Also https://osm.mapki.com/history/way/501321430 and other stretches of the same road I suspect.

Hello,
Do any of the other names need adding back to https://osm.mapki.com/history/way/501321428 ?
I reverted a number of name removals by a previous user, and wondered if any of the names such as name:ckb needed adding back.
Best Regards,
Andy (from the Data Working Group)

Hello,
Andy from OSM's Data Working Group here.
In this changeset you've removed lots of names from Erbil - see https://osm.mapki.com/history/node/599019138 .
We'll have to restore this (and any others you have removed).

I also removed some sections of the A44 that seem to have been merged in in error. See also these notes and comments:

Hello,
way/991684344/history is a service=driveway, but looks to be on the route of the Wye Valley Walk. What access tags should be set here? Is it a public footpath or public bridleway?
Best Regards,
Andy

112137297

Hello,
The bridleway way/990140725 seems to cross way/990140724 without joining it, leaving a gap in the Wye Valley Walk at relation/61495#map=18/51.86979/-2.60513 . Any idea how things should connect up here?
Best Regards,
Andy

Hello,
Just to let you know, I've filled in a gap in the North Devon AONB relation/9452837 here in changeset/122017090 - the new way is way/1067128927 .
Best Regards,
Andy

Hello,
Just checking that the deletion of Dromard Parish here was deliberate? It was relation/10727432/history and was previously https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/1j1R .
Best Regards,
Andy

@MasonSellsFL Thanks for fixing these. Does anything else need doing?

121823126

Hello,
Is the new bridge the northern one or the southern one? Currently the Moray Coast Trail goes over both of them relation/1754599#map=16/57.7175/-3.2800 , although the northern one doesn't connect at the west end?
Best Regards,
Andy

There are too many people called Andy in this project :)
I'm not Andy Allan - I wouldn't know where to start with code contributions to the OSM website.
Obviously, if anyone from the Lithuanian community (in addition to Tomas) wants to explain the general interpretation here that would be most welcome.
However, with a DWG hat on, sometimes we need to adjudicate between different OSM communities (for example, what a region of a country thinks vs what the rest of the country thinks). We try and be reasonable, and try and make decisions based on common sense.
Many countries have some examples of anachronistic road classidication (the Oxford High Street in England is one example, another is a "lost" road in Russia that lead to a long forum thread, another was a similar example in the mountains of Ukraine last year).
I believe I've taken a common-sense approach to interpreting something that was written in 2010 - and also my edit extended the "asphalt" section to match the imagery (although I do appreciate that sometimes that might be out of date, after a harsh winter).

I teverted most of their other edits and can revert this too if you like (sometime later tonight)
