QGIS

metode yang saya gunakan:

• SHP dari BPS 2010 diambil kabupaten rohil saja …
• diconvert ke line polygon 2 line
• di-dissolve (larut)
• export ke GeoJSON
• load ke JOSM

edit dulu di QGIS kolom (misal dengan menambahkan kolom berikut:

type boundary

boundary administrative

admin_level 6

agar lebih terlihat di JOSM, daripada hanya kumpulan titik ngga jelas!

JOSM

berhubung banyaknya salah dalam node, harap hati-hati dalam mengcopy! pastikan plugin Open Data dicentang agar bisa load GeoJSON

• Ctrl C untuk copy dari layer GeoJSON
• Ctrl Alt V untuk paste ke layer OSM
• join titik ujung dengan M ( merge )
• Split Jalan eh batas lama dengan tombol P saat memilih tempat merge tadi
• pilih semua garis outer …
• buat relasi
• pastikan outer dicentang dulu …
• paste tags dari buffer saja, karena kita telah menambahkan kolom / field tadi dari QGIS
• edit tags pastikan benar
• OK untuk menyimpan relasi ini …

• Pilih Edit pada relasi induk (kabupaten, level 5)
• double click relasi baru tadi (anak, kecamatan , level 6 )
• tambahkan anak sebagai subarea

Sekarang saya sedang mencoba memetakan batas kecamatan (admin_level 6) untuk Kabupaten (level 5) Kepulauan Meranti, Provinsi Riau.

Sudah lama saya tidak ke sana, rasanya sekitar 2014 saat kabupaten yang masih baru ini membangun sangat pesat.

Sedikit contekan saya:

• pastikan anda mendownload dari Overpass API, bukan download biasa, sehingga tidak mengganggu batas lain

• gunakan tombol P untuk memutuskan line

• pastikan line terhubung (join J)

• pastikan memilih relasi anak (kecamatan), lalu edit relasi induk (kabupaten), tambahkan ke relasi sebagai subarea

My student told me that there is a competition on OSM mapping hosted by “Direktorat Kesiapsiagaan Deputi Bidang Pencegahan dan Kesiapsiagaan, Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana”

The Google Form is in Bahasa (Indonesian), and I don’t know (yet) whether folks from oversea will be allowed to join this ‘competition’.

From their leaflet, seems there are 10 smartphones as a reward of your kindness in OSM.

It’s 5 in the morning,and I haven’t sleep yet … I mess a lot with Riau administrative boundary … it’s huge nodes after all … more than 10k nodes …

My big plan is – err was – to jump into admin_level 5 directly and add all 12 regencies/cities within Riau province [admin_level 4].

but … it’s not simple as my initial taught, whilst the boundary of riau and neighboring province is created from 3 sources and they all m:

• NE (Natural Earth) 10m –> this is so low res –> some how remind me with ESRI admin00 shp
• Bakosurtanal file (I think), from INIGIS website ( I got files like these prior 2014)
• new, revised 2014 boundaries [known as BPS 2010, because they embed BPS 2010 reference numbering scheme] , taken from PEMILU API, this is so far the newer one and the “most official” one …. aren’t them? lol

And … I’m too afraid messing around with previously old - sacred - relation / boundary created by OSM guru here … :lol:

Well, It seems that political and administrative boundary in Indonesia is missing in level greater than 4

According to Tag:boundary=administrative, here in Indonesia we divide administrative boundary into 10 as following:

1. N/A
2. National Border
3. N/A
4. Province
5. City / Regency (Kotamadya / Kabupaten)
6. Subdistrict (Kecamatan)
7. Village (Kelurahan / Desa)
8. Hamlet (Dusun)
9. Community Group (Rukun Warga)
10. Neighborhood Unit (Rukun Tetangga)

for anyone concern about regulation / legal or law, this boundary is SHOULD be provided by BIG, Badan Informasi Geospasial, a national body for geospatial information. You can download their official “peta” (it’s map in Bahasa) from their website, NOT!

Well, it’s not their fault … I’ve heard that they “lack of cost”, it’s actually lack of funding … but as THE ONLY OFFICIAL BODY in Indonesia who has authority to publish administrative boundary, they should concern more with their tax payer money … aren’t we?

Well, I should be proud of living in a country where its internet connections were sucks. Updating JOSM plugins and imagery tiles are nightmare!

But, I eventually found a better way to tackle this awesomeness, with downloading all necessary imagery tiles with SAS.Planet, exporting those tiles into single MBTiles file, then, load those mbtiles file into JOSM with MBTiles plugin.
