Hi
When updating existing buildings please be aware of shops/pubs etc occupying double houses:

Hi again
Could you please avoid dragging nodes of existing ways which damage the database.

Hi
I'm pretty sure these tracks aren't bridges.

If the power is switched on & the new trains are using electricity to themselves (not using their diesel engines) then the relevant construction* tags should be removed.

Hi
Is there a reason you created a multipolygon for this building? As is, the relation is not required.

Hi Living_Roz
Please be aware this is a new building:

Aerial imagery is always out of date. Please delete data only if you have verifiable information.

This is incorrect. It's a walled off playground not a car park. Please remove

This isn't a looped roundabout. It's just a set of garages. Please amend.

It's a bug in OSM-carto's programming: https://github.com/gravitystorm/openstreetmap-carto/issues/3303

I was hoping they'd be unable to fix it quickly but apparently will take "years"!! (OSM requires a better main rendering system than Carto)

I hesitated from adding a landuse tag as I considered it a duplication - a station is by default railway land, but if needs must...

Hi again

When mapping tall buildings please bear in mind that aerial imagery can give a distorted view (parallax error). Such building should be mapped at foot of the building not the roof. Note the positions relative to the road way which represents its centre line. The building needs to be offset by half the road width + pavement.

Hi
Welcome to OSM.
To check are you aware of JOSM's terracer plugin?: osm.wiki/JOSM/Plugins/Terracer

*Very* useful for mapping repetitive houses.

Hi
Could you double check these please as they duplicate existing tags & I thought the were bit bit further along.

67348316 almost 7 years ago

I would go with the 'temporary:' prefix as contracts like this never end when they claim they will.

Hi
Why have you amended a designated NCN cycle route to 'bicycle=permissive'?
What signage is there this way is part of NCN 4?

What does the tag 'carriage' refer to in this instance: way/667933876

67368369 almost 7 years ago

I thought spark said Trenchard St was still, mostly, accessible by vehicle.

67348316 almost 7 years ago

If a oneway road is blocked at one end, & is signed as 'access only' (which should be tagged as access=destination) then the oneway restriction has to be suspended, otherwise no one can enter.

If the pavements in the areas still accessible it would be worth adding them as footways for routers.

67158614 almost 7 years ago

If the road is unpassable, presumably the surrounding one way restrictions have been lifted?

66461863 almost 7 years ago

If OSMAnd fails to render it adequately then please contact them to ask to amend their render rules.

Cheers

Hi
This is purely a subway line so should be railway=subway. 'tunnel' & 'layer' are the tags used to define whether it's subterranean.
The adjoining lines are shared so should have railway=rail & subway=yes.
railway=subway

Could you change them back please?

66975638 almost 7 years ago

I've amended those, but if want to add the buildings it'll be a good improvement.

66975638 almost 7 years ago

Hi Welcome again, to OSM
FYI it's recommended not to attach polygons to the ways of roads as it messes up routing if wanting to add barriers to the polygon (think fields)
Also, building tags should be for bricks & mortar structures, not a companies full site boundary

Also, does this link exist? *Very* steep incline if it does.
