All GB railway stations are tagged as nodes.
There's a bug in the rendering software which means platforms require the area tag.

"Amend to London Underground operator to 70 stations" is a complete edit.

I've no interest/desire in amending wikidata tags as I feel they add no value ot OSM.
As OSM is a "do-ocracy" feel free to make the amendments yourself.

There's no need for you to highlight the failings of the iD editor to me as I'm already painfully aware of the arrogance & incompetence of those involved in its development.

There's no point in having an accurate map if information can't be viewed.
There's nothing wrong in positioning a label to help make it clear. Clarity is a part of being accurate, obfuscation makes for inaccuracies.

I move railway station nodes ways from the centre of the stations when they obscure other items, such as station buildings, footbridges & items on the platforms. This makes for a more *accurate* map.

Nobody is under any illusion, apart from you apparently, that that label referred to anything other than the directly adjacent village.

Err... it's all renderings.
Moving labels so they don't obscure other entities is a common sense practice performed by cartographers the world over.
It's disappointing to see you make edits which are detrimental the quality of all map renderings.
