I got to share this beautiful nonsense with someone today. So good.

Some folks in the OSM-US slack were trying to sort out why the Colville Native Reservation wasn't rendering any more. I took a stab and getting it fixed up but we won't get a new low zoom render for some time.

Something to keep an eye on I suppose.

Flip, can you please just take some feedback and do what is asked when other mappers with more experience point things out? It’s not that hard to work productively together but your seeming defiance about every bit of feedback is getting quite tiresome.

This is the 3rd changeset someone has posted where you exhibit this behavior. Please be more receptive in the future.

I would encourage you to slow down a bit as a lot of these are quite rough or incorrect... ex: many seem to be inentical copy/pasted kidney bean even when that's not reflective of what's actually there.

You're running the risk of all of this being reverted which is a shame for all parties.

deven, several mappers have all reached out to you with the same message. I think it's quite bad form to be un-yielding in this way. The data in the map lived much much longer than the minutes it takes you to enter it. Beyond that you're in danger of all of you work needing to be ripped out, making it totally meaningless.

The map isn't just "the data that is fastest to get in". It's "what can we maintain and share with one another into the future." There's no rush. No urgency that requires us to do things in a way that causes pain for other users.

I am again suggesting you take some good advice when it's presented instead of being stubborn about it.

Hmmm. For purposes of lighthouse map I will treat Ro (rotate) the same as F (flash). To a stationary observer they're kinda the same.

I had a lot of fun working on the map. It's very silly and mesmerizing.

I am starting to think there's a really helpful reference you'll be able to send me :-D

What is "Fl IMH"?

Long shot here as it's an old one. Does "c" on this light mean "constant"? If so, I will change it to F for "Fixed" in our current schema.

What did you mean by "Ro" for the light character? I don't see documentation for that value and would love to get it cleaned up or supported for lighthouse map.

This appears to have a typo in seamark:light:character where you have swapped in a capital letter I for the lower case L in "Fl" for "flash". I have changed them all to the F L value but let me know if you meant something else!
