I just couldn’t imagine that important historic battlefields of our history is not yet on any maps.

Just thought of adding it today to commemorate Philippine Independence Day this year.

  1. Battle of Alapan - May 28, 1898 - Where the Philippine flag was first waved after a victory over 5000 Spanish soldiers. The site is located inside the Alapan 1 Elementary School and a 90-foot flagpole was installed to commemorate the battle.

  2. Battle of Imus - August 31, 1896 - First uprising in Cavite against Spanish rule that saved the revolution from collapse after Andres Bonifacio’s ill-fated battle at San Jose Del Monte

  3. Battle of Zapote River - February 17, 1897 - Battle that started the province-wide liberation of Cavite from Spain.

Those that are already in the maps are Tejeros Convention Site where the 1st elections took place as well as the Aguinaldo Shrine where Aguinaldo declared independence from Spain.

Location: Alapan I-B, Imus, Cavite, Calabarzon, 4103, Philippines
