その場合、学習塾はeducation=cram_schoolだけで十分ではないでしょうか？(少なくとも日本ではそれほど普及していない)office=educational_instituteを付ける必要はあまりないと思います。

「サブタグ」の定義にについて確認させてください。 以下私の理解です。

いわゆる「サブタグ」は「下位分類タグ」と「属性タグ」に分けられると思います。

「下位分類タグ」は

• tourism=information + information=*
• amenity=police + police=*

のようなものがあり、基本的に組み合わせは決まっています。上位のvalueと下位のkeyは同じ文字列になります。

「属性タグ」は operator=* payment=* などがあり、多くのタグに組み合わせて使うことができます。

education=をサブタグとして普及させてはどうか

学校関連のタグをamenity=education + education=*(下位分類タグとして定義)で統一する提案はすでにあったかと記憶しています。

amenity=school +education=school

これは「下位分類タグ」と「属性タグ」のどちらの使い方でしょうか？education=schoolが何を意味するのか不明であるように思います。

例えばshop=electronics + education=computerのようなコンビネーションによって、電器店の中にパソコン教室があることを表せます。

これはサブタグとしての用途ではなく、メインタグを二つ有する地物であると考えられます。カフェ併設の理容院であればshop=hairdresser+amenity=cafeと表現できます。(ただこの使い方を嫌う人は多くいます。shop=hairdresser+cafe=yes的なタグを好む人が多いような気がします)

amenity=schoolの廃止に反対する意見が多いためにeducation=の新設を拒絶する人が多いのはその通りかと思います。 それを解決する方法としては、新旧タグの併用かと思います。 public_transport=タグは普及しましたが、railway=タグも生き残っています。education=を推進するのであれば、public_transport=*を参考にするのが良いかと思います。

私は1が近いですが、

• office=educational_institute or educational_institution, education=cram_school or cram-school のいずれかを使う。組み合わせは不要(メインタグはひとつにする)。
• education=*を使う場合は、Education_Reform_Alternativeの全体の議論を再度進める。

…と考えます。

I think we need a multilingual map (or at least Latin map) for Tokyo Olympic 2020, so I think this map can be a solution for it.
