Hi, Welcome and thanks for adding buildings. One thing that may help out - there's an option in the iD editor, if you rightclick on a building/house you can select "square" which will automatically make the corners right angles with each other. If it makes sense it will make nice rectangular buildings that looks more professionally drawn. It's not absolutely necessary but makes a neater product. Thanks!

Hello, I had a question: is this building really named "Einstein Bros Bagel"? Did Einstein Bros buy out this building? Seems FedEx is using the building as well.

Perhaps the building should be better unnamed because they share the same building, or is FedEx renting from Einstein?

Hi, welcome to OSM and thanks for adding the new YMCA.

If you up to it, you could change the background to Maxar Standard Edition (click on the layered squares on the right hand side in iD, scroll until you see Maxar Imagery and click it, then close the pull out tab so you can see the map) and get a better look at the building.
Also might want to check for typos in the name, I know I've mistyped a lot of names oops!

Thanks, looks better, hope it's not too difficult to split the errant and wanted changes.

Hey, I think this changeset may have moved / straightened a road inadvertently - specifically the nodes in way way/40722496 :
https://help.openstreetmap.org/questions/81449/what-happened-to-this-way-why-is-it-straight-now

Could you take a look at this?

reverted in 110152891 - decided it was not a data problem rather software problem.

osm.wiki/Proposed_features/Destination_details - not sure if this got totally finalized or not, may have to revert as I did duplicate text...

Hi, I know this changeset is quite a while ago, and you may not remember what's out here, but was looking at the overlap of Willow St and Hemlock Ave going north-south. Do you happen to know which is correct as both appear to be different than TIGER2020?

Hi, was S. Bofer Canyon Rd closed temporarily for repairs or is it permanent?

Actually if you look at 970535068, east monroe actually has a bike lane plotted on the shoulder of the road. I think in general bicyclists should be using the road wherever possible in CO.

Also as drawn, if the sidewalks simply end without connecting to another way, then it won't be used for routing anyway and it's not a particularly useful drawing... At least hook it up to the next road where it appears to do so (i.e. no grass gap).

Oh... btw, I figured out how to move it efficiently sorta... Don't worry about it anymore, It's fixed now :)

Looks like the new location is tagged but the POI longitude/latitude needs to be changed... Just a reminder that the tagging doesn't move the POI.

Cool, I couldn't make heads or tails from the Esri imagery so I figured you may know more about what's here at this location. I just noticed with the validation tools that the circle wasn't completely marked with junction=roundabout and it seems the incoming road had right of way as you say, so this didn't quite fit.

Thanks for resolving.

Hello, unfortunately I'm not local and don't see imagery so I can't make heads or tails from this, but the current geometries do not seem to match what I'd call a normal junction=roundabout - so I would refrain from using this tag in this situation - at least based on what's currently drawn.

Yeah this is a quite subtle issue that's easy to accidentally overlook. Thanks for looking into all the osmose errors, not enough people are checking them!

(I've been running mkgmap for Garmins and this has been an orthogonal tool to pick up errors, and that's how I found these potential issues.)

Here's the list (ways) of the roundabouts that currently appear to be rotating clockwise now which isn't typical in the USA. Again I fixed a few already, and let me know if you need help with locating/fixing them.

Actually I did not fix all of them yet, there's more than I thought. Please check the ones you did, I'll hold off fixing them for now.

108978059 over 4 years ago

hey, just a word of warning - some of the roundabouts had oneway = -1 because they were drawn wrong. Not sure if I fixed all of them but I did fix a couple - however you might want to doublecheck roundabouts are still oneway counterclockwise in the USA after removing one-way tags.
