It looks like you may have accidentally broken Frazier Street here?

My geometries around here are all estimates, so feel free to improve any of them to make the pieces fit better together as the works progress

Ah ok, now updated to make it private.

Are you referring to this one osm.org/way/1301859465 ?

I was wondering about that when I saw it earlier. I'll tag it as private if that's the one.

Hi Gill. Thanks for adding that in. I've updated it slightly to pull it out closer to where the pavement is, and added a few more pavements in nearby.

Not OSM friendly (but presumably fine for occasional reference under fair use) I have just discovered the Newham Personal Search Highways Map

https://www.newham.gov.uk/planning-development-conservation/local-land-charges-searches/6

It shows it as a permissive path still, not adopted highway.

Interestingly, the entrances from the avenues on the south each still have the following notice up:

===
This Route is a
PERMISSIVE FOOTPATH

This means thats:
1. You are invited to use this path for walking.
2. It is not intended that this route should ever become a public right of way.
3. The path may be closed on a temporary or permanent basis at any time in the future if the owners so wish.
4. Vehicles, motorcycles and cycles are not permitted to use this route.
5. This sign constitutes a notice in accordance with the Highways Act 1980, Section 51 (5).

Ah yeah, chalet is a weird name for it, I agree! :)

It had a self-catering sign up last month, and has a listing: https://www.visitisleofman.com/stay/corner-cottage-p1404561

What was the need for deleting the piers here?

Why did the breakwater need deleting here?

Why did you replace a harbour outline with a single point here? It seems like a backwards step?

Why have you deleted the additional 2.5D building part outlines?

Any idea what the two circular objects are in the southwestern end of the playground? Picnic tables maybe? Fountains?

Hi Ralf, welcome to OpenStreetMap!

It looks like you've accidentally moved the war memorial to a different location with this edit, but I've moved it back now.

Thanks for the confirmation. Great to see all your contributions by the way!

Is this postbox mounted in the wall or on a pole?

154569008 11 months ago

Thanks for that fix.

What about the footpath connection between Spinney Close and Copse Hill?
osm.org/way/25987693

(ps - as a cyclist I want all these kind of connections to be cycleable, but without explicit signage I don't think that's usually the case)
