164551835 | 15 days ago | I got a GPS trace from walking along both pavements and shifted it all W/SW to get it closer to what I saw, but as you say new imagery will be the best bet for getting this more accurate. I'll try to do some Mapillary passes soon for some more detail. |
164551835 | 17 days ago | Dock Road still closed off this morning, so I guess it’ll all open overnight tonight. |
164551835 | 17 days ago | If you're able to get a GPS trace, it'd be good to check against what we've assumed so far. I have a feeling it should be shifted further to the SW, closer to the DLR. |
164551835 | 18 days ago | Good call, yes they're gone now |
164465083 | 19 days ago | There's a physical island of some sort being installed today as well |
163755982 | about 1 month ago | No worries, these things happen. I guess just try to remember to check the warnings in iD when saving ;) |
163755982 | about 1 month ago | Another one fixed up - osm.org/changeset/163774982 |
163755982 | about 1 month ago | It looks like you accidentally dragged a node near Royal Victoria - now fixed up in osm.org/changeset/163774765 |
162394948 | 2 months ago | Thanks for adding the detail :) |
162099191 | 3 months ago | Also, I think this should be left as a highway=track rather than highway=unclassified, as it is primarily for agricultural use rather than general public traffic. It's not a road satnavs should be routing people over. |
162099191 | 3 months ago | Welcome to OSM, Pommit, and thanks for sharing local knowledge! I notice you've deleted the beginnings of the Triskelion Way here - osm.org/relation/17932947/history - which I'm guessing was just an accident? I had only added the short part I spotted when I last visited the area, so it was still incomplete. At some point I aim to add the complete route in. Please use caution when using MannGIS for names etc. It's a copyright source, so we shouldn't copy data directly from it. I think it's fine to use to corroborate other sources though, including your own local knowledge. Also, if adding Manx names, it would be great if you could specify it as the Manx name. When you add a name in the editor, if you press the '+' beside it then choose Manx in the field that appears, and enter the name in there as well. Feel free to send a message if I can help with anything! |
161686617 | 3 months ago | It hasn't reopened, I passed it today and there are still works ongoing here |
157918485 | 6 months ago | No worries - I never remember these sort of details when I'm cycling past :) Good question about the northern footway. I didn't quite catch that detail in the photo I took last night, but I think it's got a cycling prohibition sign. I'll double check next time I'm passing. |
157918485 | 6 months ago | The north-south crossing on Connaught Road is definitely still a zebra with parallel cycle crossing, without a proper island and no buttons to control. I wonder if you were thinking of the other new crossing just to the south of the roundabout, with the toucans and an island? |
157918485 | 6 months ago | Interesting, maybe they changed their mind after installing it. I'll swing by and check it out again at some point. |
157918485 | 6 months ago | They've removed the newly installed zebra crossing? Presumably the remaining crossing shouldn't be foot=no in that case? |
157479106 | 7 months ago | It looks like you've accidentally moved this solar panel? |
157476015 | 7 months ago | It looks like you've accidentally damaged Spur Road here? |
157477662 | 7 months ago | It looks like you may have accidentally broken Frazier Street here? |
157316645 | 7 months ago | My geometries around here are all estimates, so feel free to improve any of them to make the pieces fit better together as the works progress |
