Hi Clay,

Sorry for the confusion, I thought that because this was a service yard for trains the term was appropriate. I will also make sure to avoid doing mass edits and including unrelated adjacent edits from now on.

I was under the impression that if a building was fully occupied by one POI than it can be merged.

Sorry for the confusion, I was going by the official route name on Pace's website. As for stop vs platform, I was still using an older method of tagging. I will use platform from now on.

Unlike Metra, The CTA has set stopping positions regardless of car length so the front car is always in the same spot.

The Train stops are not named by car numbers. This will mess up every system that lists the stops in order. Please do not edit like this.

Thanks for clarifying

Please be careful when drawing not to accidentally stretch streets out of alignment. I have just fixed this.

I'd be more willing to work with him if he was willing to learn the protocols of OSM and willing to explain the reasoning behind his changes instead of being so stubborn. It would also help if he was more descriptive in his changes so we can understand them. The problem is that these changes affect relations for the whole transit line in terms of stop order and visibility of nodes on other sites like OSMAnd (Monthly Updates) or ÖPNVKarte.

Thank you for adding the correct bus stopping positions.

Do you have photos from your visit to confirm the presence of a bus tracker sign?

Please Do not delete the train station without replacing it as a separate building.

Also, please do not delete the station buildings. There are other users who are tracking building permits around Chicago who need this data and have put a lot of time and energy into tagging the with details and adding them to relations for the whole train line.

Even if the train stop position is determined by train length, please don't delete the platforms. They are in a fixed location with a set length.

The train has to stop at Buffalo Grove somewhere, so please mark the approximate location since you have more local knowledge.

I have added blank nodes which you can move to your liking without deleting them. Also please be more descriptive in your summary of changes.

Glenview needs nodes for stop areas. Please don't delete them. I will merge the stops into the station node.

I have remapped the point based on an appoximation Metra's stopping location.

87997511 over 5 years ago

Even if that is true, then move the points to the correct spots instead of deleting them all together. Each time a point is deleted it messes up the order of the stops in the relation for that transit line.

Because the points have been deleted. Glenview is not showing up here.

Just a reminder that the bus stop name is the intersection not the route number.

I was working on fixing pedestrian crossings on trails and adding traffic lights at signaled intersections. I guess I made a few mistakes. Thanks for noticing.
