Today was a day to get my “hands dirty” and spend the afternoon editing my home land - Arcos de Valdevez.
I improved some curves, corrected entrances and exits of roundabouts (one-way streets). Sometimes I have problems knowing how to classify roads: National, secondary, tertiary or whatever. Many of them have no name and some are even paths that were tarred latter so there’s no space for two cars at the same time, however they’re not considered one-way.
I changed some icons of buildings and placed them in the entrance of the building (make the life easier for those who don’t know the place when they visit it). I also drew sidewalks by the river and fixed the bridge of Valeta (it was marked as a bridge, but not as a pedestrian bridge) and named the beach (river beach) from Valeta since it was already drawn.
I added other things: the sports pavilion, the headquarters of the musical society, the fire station, some parking lots, the supermarket, the “Paço de Giela” (old palace/castle), the parish council of Arcos S.Paio, the Garden of Centenarians, the kindergarten and the playground.
Still, there is much to do! Whether in the town center or in the surroundings .
