MapComplete participates in Hacktoberfest
Posted by Pieter Vander Vennet on 4 October 2022 in English (English).Hi all,
Hacktoberfest is a yearly event where contributors get a T-shirt from hacktoberfest.com if they improve an Open Source Project.
MapComplete is open for such improvements. Head over to the repository. An ideal to get started is by creating a map layer about something that is interesting to you.
If you have questions on getting started, feel free to ask in our chat channel on matrix/element (telegram bridge )

Hi Pieter! That s great to see! :) Are there specific issues/PRs that would be most useful to start with?
We are also inviting contributions on HOT Tasking Manager and have labelled some specific issues here: https://bit.ly/3rpehJT. Related to that, I was wondering if it will be useful for people to set up a page with OpenStreetMap projects that are participating in Hacktoberfest 2022 and others can add? Though not sure where the best place for that will be - maybe as part of the event page?
