What I mean is, do I need to go through each of the thousands of warnings before deleting? I just want to delete everything and load only the revised assets

Thanks
Paula

Sorry, I am getting warnings such as this one:
"Failed to delete node/8037505966. It is still referred to by way/235064146. Please load the way, remove the reference to the node, and upload again. Click Prepare conflict resolution to load them now. If necessary JOSM will create conflicts which you can resolve in the Conflict Resolution dialogue." There is an option to

I am sorry, these are over 30000 bumps in total of a very big dataset (Cycling Infrastructure Database) and I -by mistake- loaded them all rather than only the ones I had edited and revised.
I am not confident with this revert tool and all these warnings when it is to do with so many assets. Is there a more direct way of getting advice from the comunity and delete this eventually?
Thanks
Paula

Hi
Getting back to you to see if you can assist me with the above. So I have successfully download the revert plugin and deleted the changesets.
What I don't fully understand now is, how do those changes transfer to OSM? I can still see my edits as before when logging to OSM.
Many thanks
Paula

Thanks, I will do so! Glad to know there is a solution :)

Hi
Thanks for your message. I need to delete these edits as more than just bumps in Enfield (which was my purpose and the bumps that I reviewed and connected to the roads) got uploaded some how. Do you know if there is a way for me to delete my edits all at once rather than one by one?
Thanks
Paula

Hi Gonja
Yes, I made a huge mistake and uploaded the wrong layer to OSM. I'm looking at how to revert it and delete this entire edition. do you have an idea of how to do this? As you can see there are more bumps than just in Enfield, which was my purpose and it is what I have done in later edits.
Thanks in advance
Paula

Hi Benard
Aorry, I haven't checked OSM in weeks. You are right. I have now added new items to OSM and the issue was to do with the level of zoom I was using. Thanks very much for your advice. I will try and do my best moving forwards.
Many thanks

Hi Benard
Thanks for this. And do you think this is to do with the "join to way" tool? I have only literally pasted and join the humps to a way, and I can't see why new sections of way have been created...
Perhaps the solution is to join them one by one rather than in batches. I'm really sorry about that.
Thanks
Paula

Hi Benard

Thanks for the feedback. The odd thing is that this has only happened with humps eventhough I have done cushions and bumps in the same way...

No, I haven't removed any that weren't there before - I have only added the ones I could see that were missing.

Perhaps as you suggest I should next time be limiting the features I add at once.

I hope this corrections are not wasting too much of your time.

Many thanks
Paula

Hi Benard
Thanks for this. If you can carry on and are happy to do it that would be great. Would you be able to just tell me how I have possibly added the self-intersections by following the steps described above? I'm just concious I will be adding more in more boroughs and I will make the same mistakes again?
Many thanks for your help

Hi Benard
Thanks for your comment, and sorry if I have done anything badly. I have tried to do humps, bumps and cushions in the same way by adding them and joining them to a way using the "join node to way" tool on JOSM (I was told every hump, bump and cushion neeed to be merged to a way). I'm not sure how I have added intersections or how I could rectify it. If you could give me some guidelines on how to do this I would be much appreciated.
Many thanks
Paula
