Native Mappers is taking its first step towards building a community of student volunteers, geographers and mapping enthusiasts passionate about OpenStreetMap, cartography, GIS, remote sensing and community-led mapping.

The first meeting focuses on introducing our vision, exploring open mapping, identifying volunteer interests, and planning future training sessions, field mapping activities and collaborative projects.

Our mission is to connect local knowledge with open geographic data and inspire young people to map their surroundings for a better-connected world.

**Map Local. Think Global.
