If you are inclined to do it, you are welcome to look over your area and map it whichever method you prefer, be it as separate paths or as property of existing road segments.
Another option, if you have Android phone(not iphone), you can install app called StreetComplete from the playstore. With it you can very easily add more missing detailed information about your area.

Ok, I see what the issue is. It's just a matter of missing crosswalk segments that connect to relevant roads.🙂I added a couple of missing ones like on W72, W75 and W76. Once routing software picks up these changes and recalculates things, this area should have better pedestrian navigation. It can be as fast as a few min to a couple of weeks. I have no idea how quickly they process this.🤷‍♂️
At the root of this are 2 different approaches on how to map sidewalks and by extension pedestrian routing. Should sidewalks be mapped as separate paths along the road or should they be mapped as tags/property of existing roads. It is in more detailed explained here osm.wiki/Sidewalks

Can you give some examples of incorrect routing? At first glance the state of the map in this area doesn't look that bad, so whatever is wrong should be relatively easy to correct.

How are you checking for walking directions? Are you using some app or website?
I just tried here on osm and it routes correctly with both methods..

Hello.
Please note that Organic Maps app doesn't show the current live map. Every once in a while they update map database file and release it for download.

Once again I'm asking what are you trying to map here? Why do you keep creating new footh path segments on top of already existing ones?

But that plaza appears to be at a street level, correct? If so then it shouldn't be tagged as "building". The lawn in front could be tagged as grass and it seems like the area along 1st avenue is service ramp up or down? Can't quiet tell from ESRI Clarity imagery.

109483920 over 4 years ago

Hello.
You added an area and tagged it as building:part=yes, but didn't add any other tags. Also looking at the available satellite imagery it doesn't seem like this is actually a part of the building structure and instead just a front lawn. Could you please elaborate what you are trying to map here?

Hello again.
I updated this crosswalk and changed it from a relation into just a simple line with proper tags. Relations are needlessly complicated way to map such a simple situation.👍

Hello.
Rather than outright deleting a node, it's better to delete just the business-specific info preserving it as an address and its history. Alternatively, you can use disused prefix as documented in disused=*:

Hello.
Rather than adding fixme tag, you can mark a business as closed with disused prefix as documented in disused=*:

Hello.
Could you please elaborate on that picnic site area that you created? Satellite imagery doesn't show any features matching to what you mapped.

Hello.
Creating sidewalks using relationships is not a correct way to map this situation. As such I'm going to revert this edit.
Please see osm.wiki/Sidewalks for detailed explanation how to map pedestrian features. 👍

Hello.
Nicely done there. 👍
I'd like to point out way/830738538 that you created.
You mapped tennis courts as individual areas, but then also mapped the whole complex as tennis court too. This goes against the concept of osm.wiki/One_feature,_one_OSM_element
Perhaps it should be updated from an enclosed area to simply map out the fences surrounding those courts.

Hello.
Could you please elaborate what that changeset comment means?
A bunch of hash tags are not really useful. Please see osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments

Also what exactly are you editing here? Your edits are stretching over 4 continents.

What addresses? Where? Added to where? Adjusted how? Based on what? Your changeset contains almost 1000 changes and covers 4 continents. It couldn't be split up into smaller, more geographically-specific changesets?

Hello.
Is it correct to add an individual agent rather than the whole realestate office which has like 30 different agents..
https://www.coldwellbanker.com/coldwell-banker-reliable-147c/bay-ridge-brooklyn-office-4532d

Also you are taking data from some 3rd party website. Does it have correct licensing on the data it lists to be used with OSM?
