If you'd like to map some features while you are out and about, consider checking out app called EveryDoor. It's available on both Android and iPhone. It makes things much easier to map, and you don't have to remember things for when you come back home - you can edit OSM right on the spot. 😅

I can see the rails extending into the trees, but not into the parking lot down there. Same on the satellite imagery, I don't see rails going through the parking lots of different properties.

Please note that you are not allowed to use Google Maps to map in OSM. It is a copyright violation and a violation of the terms of service you agreed to with Google and OSM.

Please elaborate your edit. There's nothing in that youtube video shows that this feature extends into the private parking lot.
OSM is a map and database of the world NOW, not how it used to be at some undetermined point in the past. If you want to want map historical railways, you are welcome to do it at openhistoricalmap.org

Additionally, as documented on osm.wiki/Abbreviations street names in OSM should be fully spelled out, not abbreviated. Avenue instead of Ave, Street instead of St, etc.

When mapping features that are supposed to be rectangular, you can right-click on that object and select "Make Square". That'll make your mapping look neater and be closer to the real world's shape. 👍

Hello.
Rather than tagging "grades=0-6", it's generally better to explicitly list them all separated with ; so that there's no ambiguity.
Also when adding phone, fax or mobile numbers, they should always include country dialing code(in US it's +1).
Finally, you deleted node/357578745, which contained elevation tag osm.wiki/Tag:ele=. Unless you know for sure that a tag is not needed, please make sure to preserve data in OSM. 👍
