Hello.
It appears that you mapped this restaurant both as a POI node and tagged the whole building.
This goes against the guideline of "one feature - one OSM object." You can read more about it here osm.wiki/One_feature,_one_OSM_element
To better figure out which of your edits is more accurate, does this restaurant occupy the whole building or only the ground floor and above it are residential/office space?

Hello.
Each mta bus stop also has a unique 6 digit number that can be mapped with "ref=" tag. They are written on those rectangular boxes with maps and schedules hanging on each bus stop's pole. Alternatively, you can find them on mta's bustime website. They are not a requirement, but nice to have. ๐Ÿ‘

Hello.
When you make edits please try to keep them grouped in smaller geographic areas, such a neighborhood or a city or at most a region. Doing that makes it easier for other people to review and better understand what exactly you are mapping and spot any potential issues.

If the building was demolished, please consider either deleting it or using lifecycle prefixes on relevant tags as documented in osm.wiki/Lifecycle_prefix ๐Ÿ‘
Also this node still has church-related tags, even though you deleted only its name. It would be good if those were cleaned up too.

Hello.
Is this location not a church at all?

Hello.
What is the purpose of tagging this as "operational_status=operational"? If it's operational then just add opening_hours tag..

Hello.
What is the meaning of "operational_status=closed" tag? Is it permanently shutdown? is it temporary?

Just to confirm, are those dashcam images newer than the satellite imagery and not older?

Also since you guys have access to potentially such newer imagery, it'd be great that while you update car-specific tag, you also included bike-related stuff, such as bike lane on Marshall St. But I understand if that's not a priority for you. ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ‘

Please note that "fixme" tag is not intended for city government or whoever to come out there and fix the stairs. It is intended as a message for other mappers to address whatever issue you can't map at this point in time.

Thank you. There's also a tag to add so that it doesn't get prompted again by iD.

Hello.
I'm not sure if you made a mistake here or something else is going on, but your actual changes are completely inverse of your comment.
Based on satellite imagery that I see, 2nd Street is in fact one-way. And Marshall Street is in fact 2-way.

Perhaps add fixme tag to remove construction tags once it's done?

Hello.
When mapping business it's best to position its node within the perimeter of a building they occupy, closer to their main entrance. That way it's easier to figure out where that business is located. ๐Ÿ‘

117945594 almost 4 years ago

Also, are you mapping for some organization?

117945594 almost 4 years ago

Please note that it is wrong to "fudge" the map so that you get the desired routing results. It's called "tagging for renderer", but also refers to tagging for router. Please see osm.wiki/Tagging_for_the_renderer for more details.
You either need to properly add all the appropriate data on the map or update your routing software so that it handles this situation better, because you can't apply such temporary fixes all over the world.

Hello.
Similar to your other edit, it looks like this road segment has sidewalks along most of its length. Yet walking on the road is allowed?๐Ÿคจ

Hello.
Based on satellite imagery it appears that there's a sidewalk along most of this road segment. Shouldn't that feature be mapped rather than saying that people are allowed to walk on the road?
