| 97104258 | almost 5 years ago | Hello. Per osm.wiki/Sidewalks. "It is recommended to represent the sidewalk as a separate way, if the sidewalk is not just attached with a curb but separated by a road verge or other barriers, to prevent routers from assuming free crossing". Most sidewalks in NYC are attached to roads by curbs and runs parallel along the whole length, as such they shouldn't be mapped as a separate path, but rather tagged as a property of roads. |
| 97070005 | almost 5 years ago | This is a good reason why it's good to keep changesets to smaller geographic regions and/or types of edits. :) Making each changeset roughly a neighborhood or town in size makes it easier for others to look at them and for you easier to describe what was done. Also if something were to happen to your browser session, potentially less of your work might be lost. |

Per osm.wiki/Sidewalks "It is recommended to represent the sidewalk as a separate way, if the sidewalk is not just attached with a curb but separated by a road verge or other barriers, to prevent routers from assuming free crossing". In other words, this sidewalk is attached to a road by a curb and runs parallel to it along the whole length, as such it shouldn't be mapped as a separate path, but rather tagged as a property of the road. |

| 96756016 | almost 5 years ago | Hi. I understand that making the similar edits and writing comments for them over and over is a bit tedious. But "and again" doesn't really explain what you changed.. 🙃 Writing descriptive edit comments helps other people figure out what a given edit changed. |
| 96493594 | almost 5 years ago | Hi. Why did you map cycle lanes as separate paths when they were already tagged on both 5th ave and broadway?

| 96492513 | almost 5 years ago | Hi. For nodes 8264549724 and 8264549721(and perhaps others) you indicated there's a bench. Looking from satellite imagery, i don't see benches. Am I missing it or did you use some other imagery that shows benches there?
