CJK fonts missing in standard layer
Posted by Littlebtc on 2 October 2016 in English. Last updated on 3 October 2016.The CJK fonts seems to be missing in the standard layer, as the map in Asia looks strange.
I guess the Noto fonts that new openstreetmap-carto supported is missing in the server, so the Asian font uses the Unifont as the fallback.
Can somebody take a look and fix that?

All the fonts specified by the carto team are installed.

Is seems that the font rendering still bad now. Is there any possible explanation?

I may have figured out the reason. In Debian testing or Ubuntu, Noto Sans CJK fonts are not included in the
fonts-notopackage, but in another package namedfonts-noto-cjk.I have sent the pull reqeust to `openstreetmap-carto’: https://github.com/gravitystorm/openstreetmap-carto/pull/2396
