Binging Mashhad

Posted by Claudius Henrichs on 10 December 2010 in English (English)

Thanks to the new imagery (and the plugin of the same name) the western suburbs of Mashhad (second largest city in Iran) are currently being traced and fine-polished. Main roads were traced with GPS earlier and were now used to correctly align the satelitte imagery that holds an offset of some 15 metres.

Weitenhagen weiter bringen

Posted by Claudius Henrichs on 13 August 2010 in German (Deutsch)

They grow on the northern slopes of the because of the high precipitation of humid air coming from the caspian sea in that area. Although these landuse polygons are utterly rough they help giving a better picture of the situation on the ground in the northern part of Iran when in map overview.

Seafood restaurants and shops

Posted by Claudius Henrichs on 10 May 2010 in English (English)

Just unified some tagging for restaurants serving seafood. Values such as "Sea food", "sea_food" or "Seafood" were changed to "seafood". Now let's just get seafood shops getting voted on and this construction site should be fixed:
