Guess I got the Solomon Islands mapping squad together, hah!

Phenomenal changeset, I love seeing these ancient towns detailed! It really brings attention to them and nails in the point that they’re some of the most beautiful and dense (and pedestrian friendly!) towns in the US! 💕

Greetings, you seem to have great potential in the world of OSM mapping, but I warn of how you seemingly do not know how to square objects. To do this, press the q key or right-click the object in iD. Trust me, it really helps the mapping look a lot better. Also, read up on proper usage of place tags, as it seems you falsely reclassified a small unincorporated place within the borders of Paducah’s city proper to a city. I recommend reading this page on the OSM wiki: place=*#Populated_settlements,_urban_and_rural

@muralito forgive me, I thought it was simply an outdated tag. I don’t really see the difference between government and public tagging personally so I didn’t see an issue with it, sorry

And then I spelled “typing” as “typic”… God. Dang. It.

And then I put “m” instead of a comma… Typic can be infuriating, especially when I cannot edit my previous messages to correct my typos.

Forgive me, I usually merge nodes with areas. I will say I have no way of finding out the entrance that is acceptable to use in OSM, though
