2 months ago | The service roads should be connected to the road, not just the cycleway
2 months ago | Hi JuKrab, just letting you know that you forgot to add building=yes to the building outline you drew here. I've added the tag in changeset/173560367 . Now it will render and show the name on most renderers Thanks for adding all these businesses and clinics in Bendigo :)
2 months ago | Are you sure these connect to the road? It looks like the parking is on the roof and underground, not on the same level as the road
2 months ago | does the driveway actually connect to Maroondah Highway? From aerial it seems like it only connects to the highway's service road
2 months ago | You may want to use the building tool (osm.wiki/JOSM/Plugins/BuildingsTools) for houses or alternatively press "Q" to orthagonalise the ways as most of the buildings are comprised of right angles
3 months ago | You've edited Flagstaff station in Arizona, United States (way/453586544/history/6#map=19/35.197405/-111.648589) in addition to the one you probably wanted to edit in Melbourne, Australia. I'd assume VIC DTP isn't intentionally editing in the US, so I've assumed this is a mistake and have reverted the changes in the US (changeset/172430435).
3 months ago | You may want to give way/1430884901 the outer role in this relation too
3 months ago | Hi, thanks for your contribution to OSM. In this changeset you dragged a bunch of footpath nodes onto the road. See here: https://overpass-api.de/achavi/?changeset=171801167 I've since fixed this. This, along with other changesets you've made, have had similar issues between them. Please take care when adding driveways not to drag nodes away from where they should be.
3 months ago | this looks like a driveway rather than a residential road
3 months ago | comment didn't go through: fix driveway from changeset/171667028; restore dragged node source: bing
4 months ago | way/1427059666 looks more like a driveway than a residential road
4 months ago | way/1427061354 looks more like a driveway than a residential road
4 months ago | I second that, please keep the history rather than recreating ways in the same location. I'd suggest checking here for why this is considered good practice Also I'd advise reading this to inform yourself of other such practices, such as not tagging for the renderer, and leaving good changeset comments.
4 months ago | Google earth is not a permitted source due to the license. It is paramount that you ensure the sources you use are allowed. osm.wiki/FAQ#Why_don't_you_just_use_Google_Maps/whoever_for_your_data? I've reverted this changeset for the aforementioned copyright reasons.
4 months ago | If it was removed in 2008 and there is no evidence of its existence on the ground now it probably shouldn't be mapped. Generally speaking, razed features are mapped in order to prevent other mappers from adding it back using outdated aerial imagery. Also, I'm curious as to what your source is for the geometry here? Bing and Esri both show no evidence of this existing.
4 months ago | Could you fix the wikipedia tags for those relations? It should be *language*:*page title* rather than a URL. E.g. wikipedia=en:Williamstown line rather than wikipedia=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Williamstown_line
4 months ago | I've also restored way/397260833 and way/403604215 as I've just noticed those were also deleted.
4 months ago | Hi, You seem to have accidentally deleted the Hawksburn railway station way (way/714353207). I've restored it in changeset/170414467. Sometimes the stations are mapped as ways rather than nodes, so make sure to pay attention to what ways you are deleting when deleting landuses.
4 months ago | en:Belgrave railway line would be the correct value for the wikipedia tag. please see here for some examples: I've fixed it in changeset/170318784 :)
4 months ago | Thank you. I've noticed and am glad you've fixed those relations. Your contributions here are invaluable and you've already added more route relations than I have in such a short time. Really appreciate your work here :) I've been fixing minor issues with the routes whenever they come up, but it's so much easier now to add a missing way or to change a stop role when it's already in order and done properly.
