Way back in 2017 I tagged the station names to have dashes matching Wikipedia articles (see https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/54035299 and https://www.openstreetmap.org/note/858075 for that history).
Looks like for example for VCC-Clark, the en-dash subsequently got lost in https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/55223355. I'm guessing this might just be due to difficulty typing it. I would support using en-dash for all Skytrain stations, as on Wikipedia.

probably no technical benefit unless search functions treat the characters differently
But em-dash is used by translink so should be used here
