Mapping Brecon

Posted by niceguydave on 25 November 2010 in English.

Decided to stave off the Christmas boredom by getting Brecon (in Wales, Great Britain) properly mapped. AT least the streets as many other useful points of interest as possible. Fairly new to mapping in general so seems like a good way to cut my teeth.

Brilliant - have often walked through Brecon (we go on holiday to Talybont regularly) and figured it ought to be mapped properly but not really been able to convince SWMBO that we should spend some hours of our holiday doing it. :) Look forward to seeing the result.

I will be near Chepstow for several days over Christmas. If you want I could arrange to drop in for a half day and map some of it with you, and share experiences (always looking for un-mapped places, as most of my normal locales are done!). Always good to talk over mapping stuff one is not sure of one's self.

Steve - thanks for the help. Sent you a direct message about meeting up one day over the break - look forward to sharing in the effort.
