Hi BladeTC, can you point to an example in our data/on the map? What should that be?

Comment from BladeTC on 18 June 2013 at 02:21

I can’t find an example. This should be a area of mountains, but classificates natural:peak + area:yes is wrong, according to the Wiki. But it might mark them as natural:peak , in line, that’s right?

This area is not just a single peak, but is a line of mountains with name (Serra do Palmital).

Sorry my english.

http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/changeset/16593811 Hi, I think the change set above is the area referred to.

It is definitely not a “Peak”. It doesn’t look like a “Mountain Pass”, the area for miles around is farmland. Can the elevation be correct for the whole area?

If It’s a peak, it can’t be an area ! It’s antithetical. natural=ridge ?

Hi everybody, thank you for you help. BCNorwich, yes, is this changeset :), http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/changeset/16593811 , and I find the link of Wiki that explains this http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Proposed_features/Mountains . The most correct would be natural=ridge, as yvecai said.

I will revert the changeset, and correct this area.

Olá meu caro!

Estou sim! Estou vendo tudo por lá, mas não comento muito. Eu sempre lia, mas nunca entrava nos assuntos, a pouco tempo passei a conversar la.

Forte Abraço
