OpenStreetMap
After seeing how lacking the map of my hometown is, today I started to add shops and amenities one by one on the ground using OSMAnd and uploading them instantly or when at home, then fixing the incorrect ones using JOSM.
I believe I can add quite a lot if I do this everyday as the city is pretty small but some hand would surely be welcome.

It definitely will help. Nice to see someone focus on the small towns/cities where not a lot of people focus on.
