Dear user TheSebik,

you are adding German translations to objects in the Netherlands.

The “name:de” tag is to be used if something actually HAS a German name - not for a translation of the original name into German! For example, the “Pont Neuf” in Paris is the “Pont Neuf” in German as well, not the “Neue Brücke”. Just as the place name “Holy-Zuid” is not “Holy-Süd” in German.

(Your addition of name:de to embassies is equally pointless.)

Other mappers have tried to make you aware of these issues but you have not reacted. See https://resultmaps.neis-one.org/osm-discussion-comments?uid=3701986 for an overview.

You are expected to consider such comments BEFORE continuing your editing.

Also, “Changing” is not an acceptable changeset comment since it applies to almost every changeset and therefore has no value. See osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments for details.

This message blocks your account until you have read it. You can continue mapping afterwards, but please find a consensus withe Dutch community before adding any (!) further name:de tags in the Netherlands.

Best regards
