As previously mentioned in changeset/112396708 , you made a number of edits to Somalia and Somaliland here that needed someone to fix (see https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/1dEs for Somalia - the boundary of Somalia wasn’t a complete line any more).

Rather than making any changes that you plan on your own, you really do need to talk to the rest of The OpenStreetMap Community in the region and internationally before making these changes. I suggest that you do so on https://openstreetmap.community/ and https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk .

Also, please use changeset comments that explain what you are trying to do - “fix” isn’t really very helpful. See osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments for more details.

I have reverted your current changes that have broken Somalia and Somailand and revert to the previous state of the data. You must then discuss what you are proposing with the rest of the OSM community so that it can be discussed. It’s important to have the viewpoint of people within Somaliland, within the part of Somalia that isn’t Somaliland, and elsewhere.

See https://wiki.osmfoundation.org/w/images/d/d8/DisputedTerritoriesInformation.pdf for how disputed territories are handled within OpenStreetMap. There is definitely a case to be made that Somaliland is operating “on the ground” as a country, but you’ll need to discuss that with everyone else and make that case - you can’t just change borders without discussion (and break those of Somalia in the process).
