Dear user SHARCRASH,

I have asked you to stop bad-mouthing other users but you are going on with it (https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/845826190/history). Frankly, I am fed up with your bullying. If you look at the edit statistics in Luxembourg you are one of the top mappers, but this comes at a terribly high price - you act as if you own the country, 95% of your mapping is with zero local knowledge and just copied from LIDAR sources, and others are just overruled, marginalised, pushed away by your bullying. This has to stop. It is not healthy - not for you, and not for others in the community.

Please immediately delete all “fixme”s and other petty comments you’ve left that complain about Tomolobla (or other mappers for that matter).

Please leave room for other mappers in Luxembourg. You do not have to “correct”, “fix”, “repair” anything that other mappers do. If they use a data source that is less precise than it could be, then let them use that. Don’t go after them and second-guess everything they do. The situation in Luxembourg is not healthy, with just a handful of mappers between them making up the vast majority of edits. We want an OSM that has broad support from many local mappers with local knowledge, we don’t want an OSM that is created by three or four kingpins vying for first place.

OSM in Luxembourg would be much healthier if you could find a couple of other hobbies and restrict yourself to mapping the occasional new building or new shop or something that occurs to you while taking a walk. Try to be the number-thirty mapper in Luxembourg, not the number-one mapper. Otherwise we’ll just continue to have problems like this again and again down the line.

OSM quality is not “how much one guy managed to trace from LIDAR”. OSM needs many contributors, and if the way you contribute to OSM drives others away, then your contributions make OSM worse, not better.

Best regards
