Back in February, I worked through a large number of objects caught up in the dispute between yourself and Adamant1 and tried to choose the best tag for each of them, taking into account both your tagging preferences and those of Adamant1. In this I tried to be as fair as possible - it certainly wasn’t a case of “one mapper was always right and the other always wrong”.

Unfortunately you have now reverted a number of these changes. An example is http://osm.mapki.com/history/node.php?id=6956166566 , which you changed in https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/108161868 with the comment “syntax sabotage adjusted”. That sort of changeset comment isn’t OK in OSM, especially when (as here) the change wasn’t just a simple revert but an attempt to find the best fit object by object. See https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/98827952 for more details.

I’ll revert all of your most recent changesets that look just like mechanical changes of one set of tags to another. You’ll also be prevented from editing for a week. If, after that you attempt further mechanical edits you’ll be blocked for longer. As can be seen from https://www.openstreetmap.org/user/ti-lo/blocks and similar problems in the wiki this has been a long-running issue for you.

Best Regards,

Andy Townsend, on behalf of OSM’s Data Working Group.
