you have sent over 8,000 user-to-user messages in the last couple of weeks. Some of the recipients have complained to Data Working Group because they objected to receiving mass mailings about the Ukraine community; many of the recipients are not in Ukraine and have only done a little armchair mapping there. Many don’t even speak the language.

What you are doing is an abuse of the OSM messaging system, and you have to stop it immediately.

I know that this short-term user block does not keep you from sending further messages, but if you choose to continue sending what many recipients view as spam in OSM, we will have to suspend your account including the ability to write messages.
