Dear Guylamar2006,

you have made a lot of mechanical edits to OpenStreetMap in the last couple of weeks. A mechanical edit is an edit made without looking at, or knowledge of, the actual object - one where you simply change tags based on a rule. The problem with this kind of edit is described in https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/What%27s_the_problem_with_mechanical_edits%3F and multiple users have tried to make you aware of specific problems with your edits, e.g. in https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/75933325 or https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/75930668, https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/75933205,https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/75930908, and others. Here’s a full list of comments that you have received

http://resultmaps.neis-one.org/osm-discussion-comments?uid=905716

Yet even though these go back over two months, you have continued your problematic edits.

Please understand that you must discuss any automated edit with the community before you carry it out, to avoid mistakes like those that have been pointed out. I hope that the fact that you have continued to edit in the same fashion even after you were made aware of problems is the result of emails not getting through and not the result of blatantly ignoring your fellow mappers.

Please, no more of this.

Your undiscussed mechanical edits will be reverted. You are free to perform them again after you have discussed the exact algorithm and logic this in a suitable forum - the tagging or imports mailing lists in case of world-wide edits - and received no objection.

Best regards
Frederik Ramm
