Dear Aleks-Berlin,

apparently you are continuing to make “blind” edits around the world, most recently https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/654411611/history - an area with overlapping buildings and a buildings called “notreal” and another called “test”, but along comes Aleks-Berlin and “improves” the situation by changing 1=1 to a note tag.

This kind of editing is not helpful. I have tried to politely point out potential problems in the past but it seems that you still believe your daily dose of level0 fixing makes the project better. It does not. If you cannot invest the time to look at an area, then DO NOT EDIT THE AREA. In your particular case, I would also like to recommend to restrict your editing to areas that you actually know, instead of gardening all over the planet and making guesses that something having tag X should also have tag Y or the like.

I will now block your account for a few days so that you have a chance to think about this, and hopefully limit yourself to making solid and useful contributions in the future, rather than executing database queries and trying to apply your “gardening” techniques to half the planet. Users in China or the USA are perfectly capable of adding their own wikidata tags to objects, they don’t need you for that - and while they do, they will perhaps even find a few things to improve, things that your blind level0 editing does not let you see.

If you plan to make any edit with level0 ever again, I want you to follow the procedure for mechanical edits, meaning that you clearly document how are you identifying objects to fix and what logic do plan to apply in computing the fix, and then I want you to get community buy-in for the fixes you are making in that way, on the relevant mailing lists or other forums used by the local communiti(es) affected.
