I’ve reverted osm.org/changeset/190403870 because undiscussed edits to countries (here, making the claim that Somaliland should be treated as a country) is a bad idea. Somaliland has been discussed widely in the forum - https://community.openstreetmap.org/search?q=somaliland%20order%3Alatest is a list.

This answer: https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/could-anyone-tell-me-why-somaliland-is-not-regarded-as-a-country-according-to-the-rule-on-the-ground/142774/7 is a summary of the current status in OSM. As I said there:

Somaliland is a bit of an edge case in that it is more independent and has more control over its borders than many other “disputed territories”

Things may have moved on since then, or previous discussions may have missed an important aspect, so you’re welcome to make those points in the forum.

However, an edit with a changeset comment of “.” is not a good way to make the case for this change.
