Hello ReviewOrRevert,

It looks like you have created this account to make some political edits. Please discuss these at https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/political-edits-by-new-account-revieworrevert/147573 .

In each case, it would help to provide more information. For example, the change to https://map.atownsend.org.uk/maps/osm-deep-history/#/node/278477555 would have been better described as “resetting the name tag on osm.org/node/278477555 to match the previous status quo”. It would also have helped to explain this change on the previous changeset osm.org/changeset/180793028 rather than “Reverted changeset in changeset/188885054 due to political vandalism”, and help that (new) mapper understand the problems around name tags in OSM.

I’ve sent this message as one that you have to read before continuing to edit; you’ll be able to continue as soon as you have read it. Please do however discuss your edits at https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/political-edits-by-new-account-revieworrevert/147573 .

Best Regards, Andy Townsend, on behalf of OSM’s Data Working Group.
