Hello Brian Watch Duty

This is to advise that a temporary block has been placed on your OSM account.

Concerns have been raised over some of your recent mapping activities where you have deleted a number of existing valid tracks altogether, rather than just changing their access limits. Please see osm.wiki/Why_can%27t_I_delete_this_trail%3F and osm.wiki/Why_we_won’t_delete_roads_on_private_property for further explanations as to why we don’t do this.

Other matters include the source of the details that you have been adding to OSM? You’ve added or updated quite a few street and feature names right across the Western US, without any reference to where you got the name details from?

Your user name “Watch Duty” also makes us think that you may be mapping as part of your work? If this is so, you also have to first follow the procedures laid out in the Organised Editing Guidelines osm.wiki/Organised_Editing.

Once you have read this message, you will again be able to log-in and continue mapping in OSM.

However, if we have not heard from you with the required explanations by 14 August, further action may have to be taken.

To discuss this matter further, please contact us by e-mail at data@osmfoundation.org, quoting: Ticket#2026080510000169 — user / Brian%20Watch%20Duty
