Following on from osm.org/user_blocks/19112 can you explain the necessity to add bicycle=no to osm.org/way/1453364281 ? The previous tagging was footway=sidewalk; highway=footway - what difference do you believe that adding bicycle=no will add:

• to the fundamental access rights recorded in the OSM data
• to how that data is handled by consumers of OSM data.

As suggested previously, the UK forum https://community.openstreetmap.org/c/communities/uk/86 is the best place to have this discussion; that way more people can be involved.
