This project is about mapping the world as it actually exists - we’re very grateful for all of the Pokemon players who’ve added unmapped footpaths in parks and water features, especially in places in the world where there aren’t many “on the ground” OpenStreetMap editors.

Some people, however, have been making questionable edits, and your changes of beaches seem to fall into that category. If you want your edits to stay in OpenStreetMap, please only map things that actually exist.

If you continue to add obviously fake things to OpenStreetMap you’ll be prevented from editing it in the future.
