http://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/48026202 is just the latest in a series of mechanical edits. If you want to perform these you need to follow the procedure set out at https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Automated_edits and https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Automated_Edits_code_of_conduct .

In particular this includes a section “Document and discuss your plans”. Had you done so, there might have been relatively few objections, though I’m sure people would have encouraged you to help more positively by looking at how the various OSM editors handle formatting of data as it is entered.
