I work for Arcadis and collaborate with various U.S. transit agencies. The requested changes aren't at the organizational level described in the wiki and aren't coordinated. Typically, the agency would handle these changes, but I offered my assistance as a courtesy. For Houston METRO, the Park & Ride locations needed updated tagging and naming conventions to reflect them accurately in their trip planner.

I am working on behalf of a few organizations, which include Houston METRO. These particular changes were requested by Houston to allow the Park & Ride destinations to show on their implementation of OpenTripPlanner.

The Missouri City Park & Ride and the Maxey Road Park & Ride are indeed bus stations. I have reached out to the METRO team to correct this.

I appreciate your feedback on using more descriptive changeset comments. I will ensure to follow this practice in the future.

Hi citrula, I am trying to remove the 'park and ride' tag from this parking structure. It is a parking lot but not a park-and-ride per RideMetro transit agency in Houston. To update downstream consumers, the OSM tag needs to be adjusted. Is there an alternative that won't tag this as a park-and-ride?
