No worries about the caps, just want to make sure conventions are understood. Another convention is to expand abbreviations, for example, West Maryland Avenue (not W or Ave). I think it's up to the osm client to present and differentiate addresses. You would just need to add more details, like city (or county, state, etc)

Aleh, can you look at the streetside imagery for this street? It seems to show "Place" and not "Street". Also, all the houses from city data are Place, so now they are out-of-synch with your change. Here is a link to the imagery:

Hi Ian, welcome to OSM! I changed two items and wanted to let you know. A business may be gone, but the address should stay, so I added an address node for 16 Witherspoon.
