They can. Add an entrance= node where they meet (assuming it's a door). Also when highways cross, as in footway and service, there should be a crossing=marked/unmarked node. Some other unnamed roads may have names, like Wessex Place, or they should be changed to highway=service. Nice work.

Hi Janelle! mapbox imagery looks to be better in your area. You can switch to it by changing the background on the toolbar on the right side of the screen. Or click the 'B' key. Then pick Mapbox.
The pool tagging is correct, but it could be outlined better. This pool has square corners, if you press the 'Q' key when the pool is selected, it will square the corners for you.

Try to add the corner points more accurately, then press the 'Q' key. It will square the corners for you.

Hi janelle, welcome to osm! That tennis court looks a bit more like a swimming_pool. Can you take another look?

Looks good. I made a few changes: reduced the number of points on the footways, added in the crossings, mapped the pitches individually, added a few pitches. Keep up the good work!

Hi iskra, i updated and added a few crossings, sidewalks. Take a look and ping me if you have questions.

Hi iskra. I think the sidewalk that runs along the Alexander and North Post should be highway=footway not path. They did a good job with the little circle. I remember the days when we had to wait at that dangerous stop sign!
keep mapping!

Welcome to OSM iskra! Nice work updating the area. Two of the buildings were not squared, and one wasn't tagged. I adjusted them. To square a rectangular building, press 'Q' key.
I also adjusted some of the roads. Lots more to do in this area, The roads mostly have the same name, you may know the correct names. If you have any q's, just ask. There's also a slack and discord groups with lots of helpful mappers. Keep mapping!

hi Julia, you corrected the road to have a hyphen and then added the bridge name without the hyphen.

100441081 almost 5 years ago

I don't know this road or bridge, but doesn't it seem odd that the bridge name has one 's' while the road and town have two 's's ?

Welcome to OSM Tyost! Thanks for updating the road. It left it as a one way into a dead end. So I changed the changed the one way and added an 'noexit' tag. Keep mapping!

The driveway shouldn't have a name either. It should be highway=service service=driveway

hi Talianw18, welcome to OSM!
Generic things don't need to have a name tag, like 'barn'. Can you make the corrections? If you have any q's, just ask Keep on mapping!

I think these are pickleball courts. The net would be too low for badmitton

98944577 almost 5 years ago

Yeah, I think that an arbitrary spot makes more sense for this case. Thanks for adding the details!

Hi ScantLeopard, the baseball fields appear to be drawn a bit too large, you may want to adjust. The two rectangular fields are sport=lacrosse. You may want to trim the wooded area that overlaps the park. Keep mapping! If you want there is a discord and slack server with other mappers that can help with questions.

The 4 smaller courts are for pickleball not badminton.
The 2 smaller baseball fields are for softball.

Buzz, you might want to revisit this one.

98182408 almost 5 years ago

Great! if you have any q's, just ask, and I'll try to answer.
Or if you want, there is a Discord and Slack for osm.

Hi Jason, Welcome to OSM! Thanks for fixing the road geometry(s), looks correct. But, the driveways seem like correct Amazon edits. You may want to revisit, as they use them for delivery routing.
