I think the path should be highway=footway. I believe pedestrian is used for things like closing a street to car traffic and making into a walking plaza, like Division street in downtown Somerville.

For the node where the crosswalk intersects the road, add the tags highway=crossing and crossing=marked .
That will help nav apps to know about the crosswalk.

Quick tip, press the 'Q' key when you have a building selected, and it will square up it's corners. Makes things much nicer. Keep up the mapping!

Dylan, I think you accidentally merged Toms River with a crosswalk. Can you correct this? Also, your bounding box of edits is over a large area. Better to make two (or multiple) changesets, one for each smaller area.

Dylan, thanks for the correction. Try to avoid using words like 'terrible'. We all make errors and/or do the best we can with imagery available at a point in time. I haven't looked at it in detail, but the bridge layer you created seems to be too long. Only tag the part that is a bridge.

Mavislayer, the houses should all have squared corners. You can use the 'Q' short cut key to do this. I corrected the houses on Nassau street so you can see some examples. Add a message if you have questions
