On this changeset I was doing looking at the greater road network and seeing if there were any roads that seemed less prominent than others nearby of the same classification. For instance, on way/702590580, I saw it was the same classification of the more prominent secondary just to the south of it here - way/584330524. And here on way/297906602, I downgraded from secondary to tertiary since it only goes to a small village and ends there. I hope this gives you some insight into my decision making process.
