Please stop commenting in this changeset archie. Obviously these piers were mistakenly placed there. I don't know how it happened, On the top of my mind I can guess that some sort of key combination in JOSM triggered a copy action of all the pieres and placed them transposed to the original position. I will never know. They were never intended as malicious and all my edits are manual. For some reason the notifications landed in my email spam.

Ok, it's acceptable to simplify if the removed nodes are inaccurate. If the reason is easier to edit less complex ways or for the sake of saving space we should be careful. If more lightweight data is required for some application the data should be extracted from the OSM database and then simplified instead. Thanks for reverting the edit!

I see that you removed a lot of nodes and then reverted the change. What was the reason for the deletion in the first place? Just curious as I find many of the deleted nodes relevant.

Please don't tiny edits spanning over huge distances. Make multiple instead, matching the cluster edits in the future.
