Thanks for the note! I can switch these just to pavement with no extra tags. I won't mark new paths as a cycleway unless there's something visible like green painted crossings or bike lane markings

Hello, I originally mapped this cycling infrastructure here, I live right by here and mostly update SLC walking/biking infrastructure. The way this is now mapped is improper use of a cycleway mapped separately - that's used for physically separated cycleways, while painted lanes have the cycleway=lane tag added to the road. Renderers (CyclOSM, OSMAnd, and openstreetmap.org) now show these lanes as a physically separated lane when it's not. It's also inconsistent with the rest of Salt Lake City. Please see the OSM wiki for more, thanks! osm.wiki/Tag:cycleway%3Dlane

Hello - I believe this is tagged improperly as a cycletrack. In the US, and the rest of SLC, cycletracks are protected or grade separated bike lanes. These are standard bike lanes with traffic calming near the intersections. I suggest these are mapped as standard bike lanes and map the traffic calming separately. Also much of 1100 E from 900 S through 1300 S is under construction so the bike lanes aren't complete. osm.wiki/Key:cycleway
