Cool. Thanks for the insight. Just completed a project to map every school district office in Oregon and Washington and surely I made a few mistakes along the way. The G StreetView images for this area are about 7 years old, so it was the best I could figure.

If the staff moved into the old Middle School, then I assume that means the building I tagged and the one to the west are gone now? They look a little like portables to me in G StreetView.

Hiya. Strange coincidence, but I added the School District office location a day before you made this edit.

Per the district website the district office's address is 17912 Northeast 159th Street.

https://gis.clark.wa.gov/mapsonline/?site=LandRecords&ext=1 shows this to be a parcel just a little southwest of 3 building cluster (which make sideways L shape when viewed as a group) which comprise the old Hockinson Middle School and are part of the 15916 Northeast 182nd Avenue parcel.

I suggest the central and east buildings be retagged:
addr:city=Brush Prairie
addr:housenumber=15916
addr:postcode=98606
addr:state=WA
addr:street=Northeast 182nd Avenue
building=school
disused:amenity=school
old_name=Hockinson Middle School
operator=Hockinson School District 98

And the west should probably be:
addr:city=Brush Prairie
addr:housenumber=15916
addr:postcode=98606
addr:state=WA
addr:street=Northeast 182nd Avenue
building=sports_hall
disused:leisure=sports_centre
old_name=Gymnasium
operator=Hockinson School District 98

Hiya again, Omnific. I'm curious about the Alternative Middle School campus. I can't find anything on https://www.psd401.net/ nor in consulting with G Gemini (which is pretty good at history, etc.). From sat images and G Maps pins, this area appears to be part of the Peninsula HS campus. The larger of the two buildings at the SW corner of the campus seems to be an aquatic center (called the "GHHS / PHS Pool" according tohttps://www.psd401.net/75692_2). Not sure about the smaller building.

Fixed; typo.

I am doing bulk tagging updates by hand for schools and school district offices across OR and WA... hundreds so far. The edits are mostly adding or updating address tags (and other metadata) to existing ways / nodes and/or adding new school district office nodes. Doing this manually to avoid any duplication is extremely time consuming and it would be made even more-so if I were to add changeset-specific notes for every edit, but I will see what I can do. Thanks for the feedback.

I didn't delete the 16906 address node you placed "about 7 years ago": node/6036074387/history/2. It was updated about 2 years ago by another user. It's position is where I added the new building feature and moved the school and school district to.

However, I just checked https://gismaps.kingcounty.gov/iMap/ and they show 16906 to be approx. where Building A is located. So I guess the new building is something else.

I'm going to move the school back to Building A as well as the school district, then delete the 16906 address node and move on.

I just realized I failed to delete the pin at 16950. Depending on your feedback, I'll take action.

I believe that information is stale.

Per the school's website (https://www.impactps.org/blackriver/), they list the address as: 16906 116th Ave SE.

This had me stumped for a while since https://eds.ospi.k12.wa.us/DirectoryEDS.aspx and https://nces.ed.gov/ccd/schoolsearch/index.asp still show 16950 116th Ave SE.

When I switched the OSM iD editor to use "Esri World Imagery (Clarity) Beta" I could see there's now a building at 16906 116th Ave SE which, according to date stamps in G StreetView, was built sometime in 2018: https://maps.app.goo.gl/LXV9pmToFsTccari7

If you have ground truth information to say the school website is stale and they are now occupying 16950, then I can move it back, but all the clues I could see lead me to 16906.

Thanks for questioning. I'm trying to add office locations for every school district in OR and WA... very time consuming to try to get it all right.

I updated the address as part of adding a Node for the Anacortes School District office at 2200 M Avenue (https://www.asd103.org/) which appears to be collocated within Anacortes Middle School. I will revert the school's addr:housenumber.
