In this specific case, for example, the change seems to *revert* the wrong changes of another user (Pippi Dissertation). This should have been mentioned in the changelog. Context is important.

La modifica non aveva nessun appiglio sulla documentazione del tag place=square, tanto per cominciare.

Uniamo questo al fatto che la modifica è stata inserito in un megachangset che includeva modifiche disparate in giro, cosa che va contro tutte le buone pratiche di gestione del cambiamento (anche sul codice sorgente dei programmi).
In generale, inizia a fare modifiche che non comprendano territori vasti e centinaia di punti.

Benvenuta in OSM! Il nodo sembra essere parte della strada, ma immagino che il centro sportivo sia un po' più in la', e probabilmente i campi attorno ne fanno parte (ma non conosco la zona). Se questo è il caso, l'elemento va rimosso dalla strada e tracciato come area attorno agli elementi che ne fanno parte. Inoltre vanno aggiunti altri tag, almeno leisure=sports_centre:
